How Do I Love You?

by Aloha Jacqueline

October 26, 2021

We as humans

do love labels

I believe it's the mind's need

to categorize

and (try to) understand

the vastness of life.

The Greeks understood

that Love has many forms

Many expressions.

When I say I love you.

I feel an all

Encompassing Love.

Love beyond

Rules,

Roles,

Stories

or Labels.

If I have to

break it down

Disect this energy

I've felt

I feel

I might say...

I am totally in (my) love with you.

I love you

In many ways.

A Soul Love

A Deep Love

A Big Love

A Vast

A Heart Love

A Human love.

Timeless Love

Expanded Love

Surrendered Love

Love beyond form

And love of your form.

Expanding Love

Love that Lovers feel

Wanting to show

To express

with their hands

With their bodies

The Love they feel.

It feels like

I've felt it all.

Am I in love?

Falling in love?

Rising in love?

Yes.

If I stay self-connected

I feel a

Love beyond fear

Love beyond mind

Love beyond attachment

Love beyond limerance

Or limits.

Love as safety

Love as freedom.

Love as acceptance

of What is.

When I fall out of self-connection

Part of me is afraid

this revelation

this intensity

might scare you

Or overwhelm you

Which honestly is understandable

It's intense and overwhelming

For me at times.

But I started allowing

Myself to fully feel

All the Love I feel

when I connect with you

All the love I am

To live and move inside of me.

With some hesitation too

If I start thinking

Or stop breathing

But as Rumi said

"Fall in Love, and stay there."

And this time I'm curious to "stay there"

Without expectation or need

Beyond your form

I am knowing myself as Love

Knowing you as Love

Feeling the Love

which connects us

To the Beloved.

Wanting

Desiring

Yet not needing

Even though reciprocity

Would be (is) enjoyable,

Adventurous

and beautiful.

It's already beautiful

inside of me

As is.
